(lot of 8) English Derby porcelain table articles, 19th c., in the "Kings" pattern, parcel-gilt and painted in the Imari palette, red painted mark with crown above crossed batons and D below, including: (1) shell-shaped sweetmeat dish, approx 9.75"l, 9.5"w, (2) heart-shaped sweetmeat dishes, approx 8.25"l, 10"w, (2) large lobed dishes, approx 12.25"l, 10"w, (2) oval underplates, likely stands for sauce tureens, (one) intact with star fracture underfoot, approx 8.75"l, 7"w, together with (1) round lobed dish, painted puce mark, approx 9"diam; 8.75lbs total **Provenance: A prominent Terrytown, Austin, Texas estate**

05.28.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 4057: As described one of the oval underplates is intact with a star fracture underfoot, as well as having minor hairlines to the exterior extending from rim, I note that all pieces are presently intact, and retaining smooth rims free from presently observed chips, all would benefit from a gentle cleaning to resolve light debris build up commensurate with age and use, there is typical light iron pitting and gilt wear concentrated at the rim throughout the service, and the exteriors of each exhibit minor glaze flaws, and the other oval underplate has a minor hairline at the foot, I observe minute typical surface wear such as minor abrasions commensurate with use
