02.10.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 1389: Upon close visual examination, the set is currently free from observed hairlines/ fractures or evidence of restorations, having a very sparse occurrence of minute iron pitting, and typical minor rubs to the gilded elements, mostly occurring at the handles of teacups as is commensurate with use, a few of the plates with minute fleabites to the foot ring, and four teacups having minute chips to the rim (see images), the service overall would benefit from a gentle cleaning to resolve lingering stubborn grime residue
