Framed woodcut on laid paper, "The Flagellation," after Albrecht Durer (German, 1471-1528), monogrammed AD in print center bottom, from "The Small Passion," series, hinged to mat, slight toning and foxing, sight: approx 5"h, 3.75"w, overall: approx 12 5/8"h, 11.5"w, 1.5lbs **Provenance: Galeria Colibri, San Juan, Puerto Rico**
10.10.25- I am not an expert on such works, so have taken high-resolution images for your review, the work is currently hinged to the mat, I am unsure if the tape used is archival, a UV light examination from the front is largely unremarkable, under UV from the verso the corners and two small areas along the upper edge fluoresce faintly, these appear to correspond to old hinge remnants or possible tape residue, they do not fluoresce from the front, the two smaller areas along the top center edge feel consistent with residual adhesive, the corners may also indicate prior hinging or minor professional repair, though this cannot be confirmed, otherwise I note only a small blemish in upper right corner, light toning along the perimeter and minor foxing, with no rips or tears observed to the sheet, the work is currently framed behind UV filtering glass, frame is secure and intact with some light rubs and wear to finish
