10.2.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 2154 –the sculpture is overall intact and securely mounted to the marble base, a UV light examination reveals only a few small areas of fill within recessed sections (possibly wax?), contained to the hide and hand of figure, this does not appear to be restoration to me but possible imperfections addressed at the foundry, this is not readily visible under normal light, there are some overall light rubs to high points, light surface wear, and subtle tonal variation to the patina, and minor general wear, the marble base remains intact with only faint roughness along the edges, no evidence of major loss or restoration observed, all commensurate with the medium and handling
