03.17.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3336: As described there is restoration to the frontal section of the laurel crown with loss to a couple of the foliates, I note that the sculpture is presently intact and stands sturdy, the bust appearing securely joined to the socle base, close visual and UV light examinations do not reveal further restoration or hairlines/ fractures, the beard having some sparse, minute fleabites, the smooth reverse with some minor chips and scuffs commensurate with contact against a wall during display, and I observe sparse inherent natural inclusions and veins
