09/18/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 3377- please note that I am not an art expert, the work was examined while hanging and the reverse was not examined by me, please refer to the online images for views of the rear canvas, the canvas appears to have been stabilized through relining, UV light examination reveals a heavy old varnish layer with scattered areas of inpainting and evidence of prior conservation/restoration, most notably through portions of the upper sky passages, the lower right area of the canvas shows a localized repair/restoration within the female figure’s gown, see images, I further note scattered drips and surface accretions, minute scattered paint flakes and small losses, including one observed along the upper left frame edge, with localized texture of the paint surface visible along portions of the upper edge adjacent to the frame, the frame is stable and intact, exhibiting mellowing, rubs, surface wear, scattered nicks and small losses to the finish, overall the work retains a strong overall appearance with the mentioned conservation and age-related wear
