09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 1177- please note that I am not an expert on such works, UV light and visual inspection reveals that the varnish?/resin? layer is intact with lines/cracks, most running vertical, with one horizontal line noted in McDucks brow, there are a few small areas of wear along edges, some inherent imperfections and variations, there is noted typical minor lifting at the edges of the newspaper fragments, the canvas is intact and free of apparent restoration
