American Victorian silver-mounted cut-glass humidor, Redlich & Company, New York, late 19th/ early 20th c., in the form of a loving cup, domed cover with a deer antler finial, above two antler handles, each set with a cigar lamp to top, colorless cut-glass body with coin dots and double-zipper columns, silver-mounted rim with scroll and bead border, rim impressed with pictorial maker's mark/ sterling/ 379, some denting to top cover, central finial replaced, approx 9.75"h, 10"w, 5.5"d, 4.5lbs total (for shipping purposes only)
8.18.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3355- the humidor is overall intact, as described, there is some surface wear and sparse, minute dents to lid, the top finial has been replaced, and sits with a slight lean, the antler on top may have had a ring or hanging element at one time as there are three small intentional holes, see image, interior lid rim (the underside) is slightly misshapen causing it to sit sightly off kilter, silver trim and rim show some light wear, minute nicks and typical tarnish, handles are securely attached with metal mounts showing tarnish and light wear, glass is free of noted chips, cracks or repairs, I note only some surface wear underfoot, as commensurate with age and use
