2.10.25-LOT 2210: I note that the painting is presently securely encased within framing, which has an intentionally distressed painted finish with gilt accents, with a few minor chips to edge commensurate with use/ display, the canvas remaining taut to stretchers and free from observed tears or restorations upon examination with UV light, following close visual examination, I observe flaked paint loss to the face and red hat worn by the woman near the central plane, the upper right-hand corner appears to have a couple of spots of light staining, it does not appear to be a painted section of the tree or a knot but spot does not fluoresce under UV light, the painting would likely benefit from a professional cleaning to potentially resolve this, please see images for your review
