Mid-Eastern Jezail or Camel Gun, Percussion Blackpowder, a 45.5" octagonal barrel slightly flared near the muzzle, bead front sight, steel ramrod, five brass barrel bands (lacking one near muzzle), a foundry mark on barrel opposite hammer, the barrel flats opposite the lock have decorative markings, the lock plate marked in front of the hammer "Nock" (Henry Nock, British, 1741-1804), marked behind the hammer "1802"  and the bale mark "4" over a heart form segmented by a St. Andrews cross with letters "V E I C", the mark of the British East India Company, a single trigger with guard, the wood stock with scrolled and stippled carving, the butt stock is curved upward, the hammer holds at two positions and is correctly responsive to the trigger pull, retains what may be original leather sling, wood and metal with expected scratching, stock has cracks at the barrel underside and a chipped part above the front of the lock plate, metal is mostly silver tone, a smooth bore with surface rust, overall approx. 58.5"l, 9.20lbs
