12.23-25-In my opinion regarding LOT: please note that I am not an expert on such works, the work was examined out of frame, the sheet has been trimmed and edges are uneven, the work is apparently unsigned, adhesive residue has seeped through in figures head area, and to either side of his shoulders, I note some spotting and color variation to the surface, the sheet has a small tear at lowest edge, rear shows discoloration and toning, it is inscribed “Self-portrait by the artist himself” on the back, it was tape mounted on a backing that is further mounted with a signed print, the artists name is somewhat illegible, however below it there is a pencil notation that appears to say "My Mother, by R. Crosse", however I am unsure, see images, the frame shows chips, small losses including to beaded trim, visible gesso and tonal paint variation, the glass shows paint loss, nicks and rubs, please see attached images for your review, the rear has a tag with notation as pictured
