Georgian style mahogany breakfront China hutch/ display cabinet, attributed to Baker Furniture Company, late 20th c., having stepped cornice with drop finial molding, above three glazed cabinet doors, illuminated interior fitted for accompanying adjustable-height glass shelves, lower case fitted with three matched-veneer cabinet doors with inlaid roundels, revealing shelved interior, rising on platform base, apparently unmarked, with US wiring, operational status unknown, approx 91.25"h, 72.5"w, 12"d
03.14.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2245: I note that the cabinet is presently intact and structurally sturdy, as described there is interior cabinetry illumination equipped with US wiring, although operational status is unknown, the cases are in overall very good condition, with a well-preserved veneer, seams of inset veneer paneling remaining tight, the glass panes of the cabinets are slightly convex, and are currently free from observed hairlines/ fractures or losses, there is a light grime build-up causing cloudiness that would benefit from a cleaning, the glass shelving also being free from observed damage beyond typical minute fleabites to edges, which are sparse and commensurate with contact against case interior, the interior has a slightly musty odor and could stand to be aired out, there is a minute amount of surface wear such as some light abrasions and small nicks commensurate with use
