02.06.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3306: I note that the structure stands sturdy, the cabinet and fall-front remain tight on hinges and drawers operate smoothly, the giltwood dolphins are overall well-preserved with some typical light rubs of the gilding, the bronze elements remain securely mounted with light patination and sparse minute pitting, the ebonized features with sparse, small flaked losses consistent with use, the burlwood veneer having scattered small finish touch ups and professional stabilizations at the site of natural burls to ensure a smooth, flat surface, I note a small, minute seam at the upper right side panel that appears fully stable, and the interior mirror plate is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, I observe typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use such as small veneer chips, which are concentrated near drawer edges, as well as small nicks and light scuffs commensurate with age and use
