Chinese porcelain covered temple jar, having iron red enameled lotus tracery and longevity motifs on white ground, approx 15.25"h, 10 3/8"diam, 9lbs
11.20.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1279: I note that the jar is presently intact, the cover fitting comfortably within the mouth, and having a couple of smooth, old chips to the underside of rim, the enameled decoration being overall well-preserved with areas of light fading commensurate with age and use, and scattered minor iron pitting, as is typical, close visual and UV light examinations do not reveal hairlines/ fractures or evidence of restoration
