02.13.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3078: Upon close visual and UV light examinations, I observe professional restorations throughout, with a slightly yellowed appearance to the interior of basin, the repairs are, in my opinion, exceptionally well done, I observe several stable hairlines extending from the rim, which are so minute and faint that I am struggling to capture them on camera (see images under natural and UV light, some examples circled in the photo as an attempt to aid in visibility, please enlarge images and zoom in for better visibility), the enameled and parcel-gilt decoration is overall well-preserved with a few scattered, minute flaked losses of the enamel and typical rubs to the gilded decoration, mostly occurring at the rim, I observe minute iron pitting, and I do not currently observe chipping
