Colt Richards Conversion 1860 Army Revolver, mfg. 1873, 8” round barrel, blade front sight, barrel top marked “-Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America-, the six round cylinder with partially visible naval battle scene and “Engaged May 16 1843”, notched rear sight, left frame marked “Colts Patent”, left side of trigger guard marked “C” at front and ‘.44 CAL” at back, SN matched at butt, brass trigger guard, frame underside ahead of trigger guard, cylinder and lower side of barrel lug, loading gate and cylinder arbor marked 1175, no visible numbers at wedge, grips with finish loss, metal mostly silver with scratches, bore bright with good rifling and some pitting, action good with very strong hammer spring, SN 199713
