12.5.23, 12:07 pm: In my opinion regarding LOT 217: I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, along the top there are several areas of veneer fill, including one narrow split at the back of the left side, one small spot at the right side front edge, and another along a horizontally-running split across the central region, as well as light water spotting and staining, the drawers currently operate smoothly, there are some minor chips to the scrolled and carved side supports, and the metal hardware, which appears to be later-added, exhibits patination, there are minor, lightly visible seams/splits, and evidence of minor old woodworm to the front facade, and another area of fill at the apron, I observe light typical surface wear such as minor abrasions and scuffs commensurate with age and use<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
