01.08.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1677: I note that the tapestry and frame are currently intact, as described there are several punctures along the bottom edge, as well as an area of weave separation, I observe two minor sewn repairs near the female figure in the red dress on the far right of the composition, there are minor fiber losses/ gaps where weave canvas is minorly visible, there are loose threads around the edge, which is nailed and partially sewn onto the frame board, additionally I note fading and discoloration throughout the tapestry but subject matter remains clearly discernible<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
