Custom Western leather wooly/ woolie show chaps, Dave Hack, Idaho, late 20th c., dyed leather belt with contrast red stitching, tooled roses and foliate motifs, with silver (content unknown) belt buckle, conchos, and tips, stamped Handmade / 94 / Idaho / 777 / by Dave Hack, accompanied by leather canteen with tooled flowers and basketweave design, on braided cord, canteen stamped Jim Gill?, rising on accompanying iron display stand, wear and stitched repairs to fabric lining, measurements are approximate only, belted waist: approx 40"l (to first hole), 41.5"l (to last hole), upper thigh (adjustable): approx 24"w (largest), length: approx 42"l, overall on stand: approx 45"h, 23.5"w, 22"d
9.23.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2231-The chaps are accompanied by an iron stand, the stand has three mounted horseshoes at the base, base is with some wear and oxidation inherent to its rustic nature, the woolly chaps are with some light discoloration and minor stains (particularly noted to right lower leg), leather is intact overall with no major loss, it would likely benefit from a good moisturizing, and shows some creasing/lines, the interior leather straps at leg show two small stitched repairs to blue striped fabric, the buckle and applied metal decorations show only some patination and light wear, the canteen is overall in good condition, I do not know if it holds liquid, overall the chaps are in good condition with light wear commensurate with use and display
