Framed oil painting on cradled panel, Wooded landscape with group of figures conversing near a path, sight: approx 15.5"h, 19.5"w, overall: 27.5"h, 31.5"w, 16.5lbs
02.19.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3087- please note that I am not an expert on such works, so have taken numerous images for your review, the board is overall intact, a UV light examination reveals two central seams to board, they are noted under UV light on the left side and seem to get fainter as they extend across the board, the stabilizing cradle conceals the back of board so I am unsure as to what these are though they are consistent with a board seam or an old stable split, there is old varnish, minor craquelure, inherent texture, surface accretions mostly noted in the upper right sky, I further note minor inpainting, a few small flakes and light rubs, there is some wear and loss along the board edge particularly noted at the lower right, the board sits a bit above the frame, please refer to online images for close views of the seams and surface under UV light, the frame is intact with visible joints and some adhesive to stabilize, old wood splits to back, finish loss and wear, with small nicks and chips throughout, all mentioned commensurate with age, storage and display
