Condition

08/11/2026: 08/11/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: 2029- please note, I am not an expert on such paintings, the was not examined out of frame, it is under glass so reflective and difficult to photo, the work appears to be mounted to the backboard, I do not know the adhesive used or exactly how it is affixed, so can only speak to the visible paper, the sheet is toned overall with a margin line noted, foxing/spotting, mainly noted in the upper sky passages, a UV light examination reveals some white spots in the upper left corner, I do not observe any apparent evidence of restoration to the sheet, the frame is stable with some small nicks, rubs and wear commensurate with handline and display, matt shows staining and undulation, glass is intact and free of chips or cracks
