08.10.2026- In my opinion regarding Lot 1030: please note that I am not an expert on such works, the bust is overall in sturdy and stable condition, the exposed underside is filled with composite material to add weight to the work, the patina is warm with tonal variation throughout, I observe scattered light surface wear, minor abrasions, small nicks, and inherent imperfection, as described, there is an encircling hairline at the junction where the bust meets the upper socle, I am unable to determine whether this represents a stable casting seam, age-related stress line, or evidence of an old repair, please refer to the accompanying images for your own evaluation, overall the work presents well, exhibiting wear commensurate with age, handling, and display
