Condition

2.21.25-In my opinion regarding: LOT 1252: The chest is not accompanied by a key but all drawers remain unlocked, the hardware and lock plates are later-added and a home improvement shop can cut a key to accommodate these locks, I note that the chest is presently intact and structurally sturdy, all drawers currently operating smoothly, with patination/ oxidation of the metal pulls, there are some minute, stable splits towards the back edge of top, and the side panels (see images), as are typical and commensurate with age, there are inherent tonal variations throughout the veneer, and typical minor surface wear, which is sparse in occurrence, such as abrasions, small nicks, and a couple small chips, including a minute chip to the string inlay framing the top of case
