03.25.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 2222- the chest is in overall sturdy and stable condition, the case exhibits age with some imperfections throughout, there are a few very small wood repairs to top edge, one at rear right corner and one along back edge, see images, I further note minor stable lines/splits, tonal variation with some finish wear/loss and spotting, mainly along the front edge and facade, I note scattered small nicks, minor wood losses, rubs and surface wear, drawers slide well, they retain on old paper liner, drawers would benefit from being aired out, they retain a slightly musty odor, commensurate with age, display and use
