5.22.26-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2142- as described, the trunk/chest is antique with later/late 20^th/21^stc.  painted, it is in stable and sturdy condition exhibiting age with some small wood losses, abrasions, imperfections and minor wear, the top has an old stable spilt that has been reinforced to the interior with wood straps, the interior is stable, it would benefit from a good cleaning, iron hinges are each missing a small screw, all mentioned commensurate with the age of the trunk, display and use
