Condition

02.13.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3132: As described the game boards and boxes exhibit some overall losses, mostly at the raised trim and edges, I note that the table stands sturdy, the veneer retaining an overall uniform finish, and gilt-metal elements remain securely mounted, the top swivels smoothly, and the base easily sides out from under the tabletop, one end of the tabletop with a small segment of trim loss (see images), the felt lining the game surface having some spots of lifting near the edges but remains secure, the roulette wheel with typical minor surface wear such as light abrasions of the enameled finish and slight oxidation/ patination, the game pieces also with typical minor surface wear, such as light abrasions, fleabites and minor chipping to the edges of game tokens, paper spotting, a couple of light water rings, and the spherical finial loss of one of the chest pieces noted in the description, this wear is typical and commensurate with age and use
