08.18.2026- In my opinion regarding: LOT 2292- we believe the desk to be 19^th c.,  it is in stable and sturdy structural condition with the upper cabinet simply resting table top, I did not  examine the underside of the table under the cabinet, as consistent with age, overall, I note some small repairs, nicks, small wood losses and stable splits and/or separation at joints, spotting, light gouges and surface wear, and some scattered evidence of old woodworm, with a small loss noted to upper cabinet on rear left back edge, see images, pullout surface is a bit sticky at start but then slides smoothly, drawers slide well, interiors show some staining and wear, all mentioned commensurate with age, origin and use
