1.12.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3257-This piece is impressive and incredible, we do not often see pieces such as this, the structure is sturdy and overall intact, I am unable to fully view the top crest, but from my vantage point it looks to be in fine condition, glass panes on doors are intact with no apparent chips or cracks, they have a thick bevel, interior shelving is sturdy, the right interior back panel does exhibit a stable split/separation, see images, below the upper case there is a concealed trim drawer, the key does operate the lock on this drawer only, carvings and wood surfaces throughout are detailed, displaying only minor typical small losses, rubs, light tonal variation, and minor wood wear, the large seated winged putti situated along the back trim on either side are both holding a musical instrument, both musical instruments display loss and some missing wood, see images, otherwise as mentioned the balance of carvings are largely intact, the cylinder role shows a stable split to front panel, as you lift up on the roll it extends the inner writing surface outward, interior shows expected light expected wear, and surface abrasions, there is a stable split noted UNDER the gallery to the bottom panel, this is difficult to see, I have tried to photo for your review, the drawer below is as pictured, the base doors are well carved, and open smoothly to reveal nine fitted drawers, that open smoothly, hardware to inner door hinges lacking a few small screws, this piece is incredible, all that I have mentioned is minor and commensurate with origin, age and use, please see attached images for your review.
