8.22.24-LOT 3385: I note that the vitrine/ bookcase is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the back legs have been braced (cannot take image due to gallery staging preventing access to back of case), the marble top exhibits inherent natural inclusions and fissures, some of which have been filled to create a flat/ smooth surface, and there a few typical minute nicks to the front edge (see image), the front right hand corner of marble has a small area of filled restoration, the glass is currently free from observed fractures and chipping, and there is patination with light spotting of metal elements, there is sparse, minor scattered evidence of old woodworm (see images), and minor surface wear concentrated to the lower edge of apron where there are minor chips to the veneer commensurate with age and use
