Signal Pistol, unknown maker, possibly U.S., has distinctive long housing at barrel top for the lever to open barrel, markings include at left frame above grip "O6P over "1874" (the six has curled line at top), "80" at left side exterior barrel lug, "44" at underside of barrel lug and "5", base of interior frame "44", at front section of barrel on front of barrel lug "7", the underside of right grip stamped "697" and "819", left grip stamped at underside "697", marked at but "319" with symbol, the 4" brass barrel, 1" bore, steel frame, wood grips, lanyard ring, action good, lacks trigger guard, for shipping 6" x 8" x 1.5", 2.50lbs   (296) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)

Condition

7.10.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1075- the frame is with light pitting, there are several small dents on the left above the missing trigger guard area, there are some scratches and general light dents on brass, the single action of the hammer is good and correct, the upper lever allows the barrel to open correctly, bore with some pitting and in need of cleaning, wood grips appear good with some scratches and small dents, please refer to online images for reference
