03.23.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 2332- please note I am not an expert on such works, the work exhibits age, a UV light examination reveals an old varnish layer, fine networks of craquelure with small areas of missing paint, mostly concentrated to the center section and upper and right edges, a further note some surface accretions, minor inpainting and general grime, the frame is intact with some stress lines, loss and wear to trim and paint with visible gesso and some painted touchups
