French bronze-mounted porcelain centerpiece bowl with inset clock, 19th c., having dual grotesque-form handles, over tapered basin with polychrome chinoiserie motifs, centering an enamel clock dial painted with a cupid and pair of doves, Arabic numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked Marti & Cie, rising on scrolled feet, accompanied by pendulum, broken suspension spring, not currently operational, approx 12.5"h, 18"w, 11"d, 10.25lbs

CR 6.2.25- As mentioned in the catalog description, the clock is not currently operational. It is accompanied by a pendulum, bell, and key, and the bell and striker resound nicely when manually struck. While it winds relatively easily and the movement appears to respond to winding (ie. the leader swings back and forth when the clock is wound), the suspension spring is broken. Because of this, the clock is not currently operational. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
