10.6.25- The chandelier is overall intact and structurally sound, and as described, presently in need of rewiring, the painted tole surface exhibits minor abrasions, scattered rubs, and light wear consistent with handling and age, the gilt finish has mellowed, I note minor tonal variation from touchups, scattered rubs and faint oxidation in recesses, a small white casting residue is noted in one swan’s crevice, the frosted flame-form glass shade is intact with only slight edge roughness, the surrounding gilt collar shows faint bending and small surface marks, all mentioned commensurate with age
