French Louis Philippe period fruitwood sideboard, mid 19th c., fitted with three drawers above three paneled cabinet doors with shield-form escutcheons, opening to single interior shelf, rising on bracket feet, approx 36.5"h, 69.5"w, 20.25"d

Condition

CR 6.9.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1256, please pardon my images, the piece is difficult to access and lighting is poor due to its gallery location, the structure is sturdy, the top is intact with light evidence of old wood worm, primarily noted to the top left rear and in a few scattered areas on the case, the top also shows some light spotting, minor abrasions, and inherent wood characteristics such as old knots, the case is largely clean with only typical minor wear, including small nicks, tonal variation, rubs, and light abrasions, the doors and drawers slide well and the interior shelving is sturdy, the door panels retain a tight seam at the center, though the left panel appears to have shifted slightly, the shield-form escutcheons are present, I am unable to fully view the left side panel, please refer to online images for a complete view, the right side panel shows three small old areas of repair near the lower section, all wear and imperfections are commensurate with the origin, mid 19thc, age, and use of the sideboard
