French Louis Philippe giltwood mirror, mid 19th c., having arched frame, with molded rope and inner beaded trim, encasing flat mirror plate, approx 53"h, 38.5"w, 52lbs
CR 1.13.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 2185- the mirror was examined on the wall, hanging hardware may have been added since the time of photography, the frame retains remnants of gilding, with overall rubs, and wear to the surface, there are some gold painted touchups, nicks, minor wood loss and possible repair to trim, beaded trim remains largely present, flat mirror plate is free of chips or cracks, I note only some slight spotting, as commensurate with age and display
