CR 3.24.25-In my opinion regarding: LOT 1175: I note that the mirror is presently intact, the frame securely encasing mirror plate, which is free from observed hairlines/ fractures and visible chipping (please note mirror plate was not examined outside frame), as described there are some areas of silver loss, which occur throughout, as well as hazing/ spotting and visible diamond dust (inherent to mercury-based glass of the period), please refer to attached images, the frame with rubs and mellowing of the gilt finish, as well as some typical minor splits and light separation at the corners, all appearing structurally stable, there are additional tonal variations of the gilt commensurate with patination and spotting, I observe sparse minor surface wear such as small nicks and flaked or chipped gilt loss commensurate with age and use
