01.16.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3102: I note that the mirror is presently intact, the frame securely encasing mirror plate, which is free from observed chipping and hairlines/ fractures, the frame having stable separation at the upper corners, and some typical minor splits, the gilt finish displaying typical wear including mellowing, rubs, and tonal variation, with areas of gilt-painted touchups, and a few minor chips commensurate with use, the outermost trim of frame being entirely inpainted, the mirror plate exhibits scattered silver losses and hazing/ spotting commensurate with age
