01.23.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 1414: I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as some sparse scattered pitting, typical minute chipping to the unfinished back edge, and some scuffing to edges commensurate with use, the case having inherent tonal variations, the front façade having patched concealment of inherent burls, the side panels having typical minor separation and some small splits, all remaining stable, the string inlay trim being overall well-retained, and the drawers operating smoothly, I observe evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, and typical minor surface wear such as light abrasions, a small number of minor veneer chips, some with filled concealment, and minor nicks, all being commensurate with age and use<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
