09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT :  2123- the commode is in overall sturdy and stable condition, the marble top displays typical small chips along the edges, some minor divots, spotting with light ring stains and some light surface wear, the case is well figured and patina warm and tonal, there is light wood wear, rubs, some small losses and nicks, side panels show stable seams, the drawers would benefit from waxing to facilitate smoother movement, the second drawer is lacking the lock mechanism, interiors show light spotting and wear, all commensurate with the mid 19thc. age, origin and use of the commode
