09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 2336- the commode is in sturdy and stable condition, the top is intact with a few scattered divots, some small areas of fill, surface wear and light discoloration, there are some typical minute chips to edges, the  case is well figured with a warm and tonal patina, I note some small touched up areas, scattered minute veneer losses, particularly noted to the second and third second drawers, drawers slide well and interiors are largely clean, rubs, nicks, light wear and very light evidence of old wood worm, please refer to online images for views of side panels as I a cannot access them due to gallery location, it does appear that the left panel is intact with a stable seam/separation, all commensurate with origin, age and use
