French Louis Philippe figured walnut commode, mid 19th c., having rounded marble top, over frieze drawer, and three long drawers, rising on cup feet, approx 37"h, 50"w, 24.5"d
7.29.25: In my opinion, the structure is in sturdy and stable condition, the marble top is intact with some typical minute roughness/ small chips, primarily noted along the back edge and corners, there is some light discoloration/ staining, and a slim stable hairline at front right, see images, the case is well figured with some natural wood knots, I note tonal variation, light finish wear, some rubs, some scattered very minor wood/veneer losses, nicks and marks, the top drawer has handholds to underside, drawers slide well, all have some stable natural splits to wood bottoms, this does not affect the integrity of the interior, the key and locks are quite unusual, see images, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
