01.07.26: I note that the bed is structurally sturdy, the carved elements are overall well-preserved with sparse, minor surface wear such as a few small, minor chips and nicks commensurate with age and use, and minor evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, additionally I observe some typical stable splits, and minor seams of separation, mostly occurring at the foot board, the side rails having a couple of minor fills at the site of chips, the lower section of the headboard with discoloration/ staining consistent with use
