8.22.24-LOT 3185: I note that the bureau plat is presently intact and structurally secure, the top has splits of varying degree throughout, including splits extending vertically along both ends of the desk, with lifting, reinforcing, and small veneer losses along these seams (see images), there are additional splits concentrated within the central oval medallion of the top, the marquetry remaining overall well-preserved, the drawers operating smoothly, I observe patination and spotting of the metal elements, and typical veneer chips of varying degrees, most of which are minor, some having filled restoration (see images), light surface wear such as chipping, sparse abrasions, and minor nicks mentioned minor and commensurate with use
