CR 8.29.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2333: I note that the commode is structurally sturdy, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, with a few minute chips at edge commensurate with use, and inherent natural fissures. The side panels exhibit varied degrees of reinforced separation and splits, which is consistent with 19th century origin. I observe scattered small patch repairs, and some minute finish touch ups and fills related to minor surface wear commensurate with age and use. The drawers operate smoothly, and the interiors are overall well-kept/ clean. Bronze remains securely mounted throughout with tonal variation associated with patination and mellowing.
