07.09.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3075- please refer to online images for best views of the desk, as due to cramped gallery location I am unable to fully access, any white you see on the finish is simply glare from lighting, the piece is in sturdy and stable condition, the leather inset is intact with some spotting/staining, impressions, ring stains and wear, the top and base show expected wear with some rubs, abrasions, edge nicks, tonal variation and general light wear, the top is with some lines in the finish, see images, drawers operate correctly, but would benefit from a waxing/oiling to facilitate smoother movement, all drawer bottoms are stable, but the wood lining in the central drawer shows some buckling, metal mounts are present with some spotting, patination and rubs, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
