03.17.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3435: I note that the desk is presently intact and structural sturdy, the leather surface being overall well-preserved with typical tonal variation associated patination and minor staining, light fading, and minute spots of peeling, all being commensurate with age and use, the leather appearing o remain securely bound throughout edges, the metal banding remaining securely bound and having light patination, the drawers operating smoothly with overall well-kept/ clean interiors, the veneer with tonal variations from areas of finish loss/ peeling, particularly near the edges of drawers, I observe typical minor surface wear such as small abrasions, nicks, and chips commensurate with age and use
