9.30.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3495- we believe the desk is late 19thc., it stands sturdy, the fall front, drawers and doors all operate smoothly, the marble top is intact with some typical small roughness/chipping along edges and light wear, as visible in all of the online images. the wood case exhibits stable separation/splits to side and front panels, tonal variation, light wood wear and some nicks, metal mounts are all present with only light spotting and patination noted, all mentioned commensurate the age, origin, and use of the piece
