02.13.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3159: I note that the sideboard stands sturdy, the cabinet doors remain tight on hinges, and the drawers operate smoothly, retaining overall well-kept/ clean interiors throughout, the painted finish is overall well-preserved and free from notable losses, there is patination of the gilt-metal hardware, marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures and evidence of restoration, I observe a very sparse amount of typical minor surface wear commensurate with age and use such as some shallow scuffing and minute fleabites to the edges of marble top, and a couple of light abrasions, the right side cabinet with a central small abrasion that is a bit deep but overall minor (see images),
