08.29.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1266: I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as a few typical minute chips to edge, there are minute pits in the marble that have been filled to even the surface, and there is a very small hairline extending from a neck to the right side of front edge, the drawers currently operate smoothly, with patination and tonal variation of metal elements, particularly at the banded trim of central drawer, there is typical light surface wear such as fading to the finish, and minor abrasions and nicks commensurate with age and use
