8.22.24-LOT 3440: I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top is intact with inherent naturally-occurring inclusions, fissures, and variations to the stone, please note the underside of marble top has not been examined, all edges of the marble exhibit typical minute chipping commensurate with age and use (see images), the gilt metal mounts exhibit patination and light spotting, the case exhibits tonal variations, with reinforced splits extending vertically at both side panels, all drawers currently operate smoothly, the two lower drawers having minor horizontal splits with filled reinforcement, the lowermost drawer having a minor chip at the top right-hand corner
